That is not a problem. We never know how many will show up 4 or 40. We like to have at least 5 for a class and 10 for a trophy. If you each want to throw in some cash for a pot to race for it makes it a whole bunch more interesting. Like the 4 wheelers you should probably run a bracket race. That will give every one a better chance, because it's pretty obvious who the fastest bikes are. This weekend may not be the best with the Shoot-out guys doing qualifing on Friday, but get with me and we will work something out. I should be in the tower all weekend.

This would be awesome! We originally tried to set this up on Fridays but diddnt get it done, Participation would be much better on a Friday night. Several of us have been racing the bracket series at mokan and they have a good structure for the bike program. The guys Ive talked to are more than willing to put up the extra $ to make it like this. I know that participation has been a little weak because its been a trophy race (a trophy with a car on top of it ) and trophy's dont buy parts. so we havent exactly been feeling the love. For what its worth, heres what we would like to see happen.

1/4 mile Bracket (no 1000' please), full .500 tree, $25 entry, $125 winner, $75 Runner up, 35 to quarter finals (when more than 10 bikes enter first round), Single elimination no buybacks, Purse prorated for less than 8 bikes round one.

So what do you think? is it possible to get a program like this going? Doc

Doc...You have my attention. This would probably be the motivation I need to get the bike out of the warehouse and on the trailor in route to Rogersville.

yeah, its got a lot of attention, a few of the mokan crew would be interested as well as several from swmosportbikes. there is no problem getting the participation #'s we need on a friday night.

Its up to OIR to give us the yea or nay on this. What do you think belvedere, can we make this happen?......please.

there is some interest in adding a first round $10 buyback to the proposal.

We would really like some input from the powers that be at OIR on this.

I like it. Daniel and I have been discussing it and he should have a little more official information this afternoon. I can't see anything much to change. We can try it this Friday.
