Transmission question

I have a 66 Mustang with a c4 trans.  Does anyone know how to adjust the kickdown cable?  The cable is about 8 or 10 inches long and has an eyelet that hooks on an arm that comes off of the throttle linkage on the firewall.  The other end is threaded and has a piece similar to what's on an aftermarket shifter cable.    I lost the original one when I swapped engines and had to order a new one.  I'm not sure how to adjust it, though.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks

if its anything like the old mopars or any kickdown cable for that matter, make sure the kickdown throttle linkage, pulls the kickdown lever on the trans all the way at full throttle.
