I wouldn't post this but I heard that you guys weren't going to be bracket racing this weekend, Aug 14, so I thought I would invite you guys to come to Tulsa and see what a few million dollars can do to an old run down track. It's nearing National Event standards, hoping to get an IHRA National Event next year.
Gates open at 5 (4pm for Jr drasters)
All classes run 1/4 mile.
Completely new surface, concrete to the 1/8 mile and blacktop the rest of the way. Pefectly smooth, ground to with in an 1/8 of an inch for 25 feet, or something like that.
A new World Record was set July 10 at the Night Under Fire by 5.296 seconds at 278.52 set by Ron Fassel in his AA/FA Fuel Altered. We have something like 6,650 spectators.
